A New Partnership with ‘Odessa Law Academy’ – Ukraine

In the framework of building new partnerships to develop common projects between Lebanon and Europe, the ‘Lebanese Development Network' (LDN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National University 'Odessa Law Academy' (NU OLA) in Ukraine.
 
President of ‘OLA’ Mr. Sergey Kivalov signed the MoU on behalf of the University, whereas Mr. Amin Nehme signed on behalf of ‘LDN.’  

This agreement intends to enhance collaboration through the shared objectives of both parties in ‘Promoting Co-operation in Teaching and Research.’ 

Moreover, it sets the ground for mutual cooperation in relation to the exchange of information, academic material, development of collaborative research projects as well as the organization of joint academic and teaching activities such as lectures, seminars, conferences and summer courses. 

The agreement regarded also the facilitation of mutual visits for faculty members, administrative staff and students. 

The Lebanese Development Network (LDN) is a national non-profit organization “dedicated to assist individuals, communities and institutions build their capacities by conveying knowledge and improving practical performance to enable them manage the changing social requirements, catch opportunities and meet the development challenges.” LDN works in the education, culture, economy, social and health fields through the various strategic levels of Capacity Building, Social Marketing and Networking Practices, and provides Training, Consultancy and Program Development services. It endeavors to promote new paradigms for SMEs and Social Entrepreneurship in collaboration with both the public and the private sectors. 

Odessa Law Academy (OLA) is a higher educational institution in Odessa - Ukraine. Founded in 1997, NU "OLA" is the center of legal education, culture and science in the country as well as the leading higher educational institution of jurisprudence. According to the State Accreditation Commission of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the University trains specialists in the highest - IV - level of accreditation.
